The Borough of San Roque offers 15 kilometres of scarcely developed, unspoilt beaches on the Mediterranean coastline. San Roque's beaches stand out due to their general amenities and lifesaving facilities. At present, the municipality features two blue flag beaches.

Cala Sardina (Sardine Cove)

Cala Sardina (Sardine Cove)

This Blue Flag beach is also called Shepherd's Beach or Taraje Cove. It's an unspoilt beach with dark-coloured sand. This is the place where part of the American -produced comedy movie "Deuce Bigalow, European Gigolo" was shot on location a couple of years ago.

Torreguadiaro Beach

Torreguadiaro Beach

This is a sandy beach with pebbles, also called Seashell Beach. This beach was awarded a blue flag in 2006. It is located in the village of Torreguadiaro, in the borough of San Roque. This old seaside fishing village offers numerous bars and restaurants.

Sotogrande (Guadalquitón & Borondo) Beach

Sotogrande (Guadalquitón & Borondo) Beach

Sotogrande Beach stretches almost endlessly towards the Rock of Gibraltar. The beach is located next to the luxurious Sotogrande Costa Residential Area, in the borough of San Roque. The first part of the beach is situated by the mouth of the Guadiaro River and it ends near the Torrecarbonera lighthouse. As you leave Sotogrande behind, the beach is almost deserted and wild.

Alcaidesa (Torrecarbonera y Hacienda) Beach

Alcaidesa (Torrecarbonera y Hacienda) Beach

This unspoilt beach is one of the borough's best without a doubt. This has been a blue flag beach since 2003. The beach is also called The Spa. The beach features an official nudist section.

Campamento Beach

A beach located in an urban area. It is situated in the village of Campamento, in the borough of San Roque, which features plenty of bars and restaurants.

Puente Mayorga Beach

Puente Mayorga Beach

Another beach located in an urban area. It is located in the village of Puente Mayorga, in the borough of San Roque. This old fishing village also features several bars and restaurants.

Guadarranque Beach

Guadarranque Beach

This suburban beach features natural sand dunes. A beach located in the village of Guadarranque, in the borough of San Roque. The Carteya Archaeological Site (600 B.C.) and the Guadarranque River mouth are situated close by.

Sotogrande Port Beach

Sotogrande Port Beach

This beach, which is located near El Octógono Beach and Tennis Club within the Port of Sotogrande, features several bars and restaurants nearby, as well as a couple of beach bars.
